Gather My Crew

Our projects

How funding becomes impact

Across Australia, we’re delivering projects that help people organise practical care within their own communities.

Each one turns funding into tools, education and support that make helping and caring easier when life gets hard.

Cancer Research

The cancer patient support project is improving access for cancer patients in rural and regional Australia. We’re addressing these specific needs in the new update of the Gather My Crew app, due for release in July 2026.

Proudly Funded by the Federal Department of Health and Aged Care

Everyday Support Resources

We’re creating simple, practical resources to help people show up for each other outside of the app.
Posters, downloadables and printable guides that build confidence and make it easier to ask for and organise help.

Proudly Funded by Carers Victoria

Oncology Nurse Professional Development

We’re creating professional development for oncology nurses to support patients beyond the hospital.
This work focuses on helping patients access practical care at home through the people around them.

Proudly Funded by the Churchill Fellowship Impact Funding Program

Community Engagement in Bendigo

With someone local on the ground in Bendigo, we’re building connections across health services and community groups. This work increases awareness, strengthens referrals, and helps more people access and share practical support in the area.

Proudly Funded by the Aged Persons Welfare Foundation

Community Engagement in rural South Australia

In rural South Australia, distance and limited services can make support harder to access. Through local connections and community outreach, we’re making sure more people know about Gather My Crew.

Proudly Funded by Rural Health Innovation Fund, supported by CSA PHN

Our Place

Strengthening communities by connecting local volunteers with people who need support outside of formal care. We’re matching people within their own postcode to share practical help, when and where it’s needed.
